Yesterday, our classrooms at Co-op Academy Grove were buzzing with numbers, problem-solving and plenty of mathematical fun as we welcomed parents and carers into school for our exciting Watch Me Learn Maths event!

It was a fantastic opportunity for families to step into the classroom and experience maths lessons alongside their children. From exploring number skills to tackling mathematical challenges, parents and carers got to see first-hand how our children learn, develop their confidence and put their maths skills into action.

The children loved sharing their learning, showing off their skills and becoming the teachers for a change as they guided their grown-ups through maths activities! It was wonderful to see everyone working together, discussing ideas, solving problems and celebrating successes along the way. 

Events like these are a brilliant way to bring our school and families together, helping parents and carers gain a better understanding of how maths is taught at Co-op Academy Grove and how they can support their children's learning at home. Most importantly, it showed that maths can be fun when we learn together!
