A Moving and Memorable Remembrance Assembly

Year 5 Remembrance Service

Our school was filled with pride, reflection and a wonderful sense of community as our fantastic Year 5 children took centre stage to host our special Remembrance Assembly.

We were delighted to welcome parents and carers into school to join us for this important occasion and share in a truly meaningful experience.

Our Year 5 children did an absolutely amazing job! They spoke confidently and clearly, sharing the importance of Remembrance Day and helping us all to understand why we take time each year to remember those who have served, sacrificed and fought for our freedom.

Through their thoughtful words, readings and performances, the children reminded us of the importance of remembering the past, showing gratitude and appreciating the peace and freedoms we enjoy today. They demonstrated maturity, respect and compassion throughout, making us incredibly proud.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together, reflect and remember. A particularly special moment was having our families alongside us to share in the assembly and support the children.

A huge well done to all our Year 5 children for their hard work, bravery and dedication in putting together such a fantastic assembly. We would also like to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the occasion so special.

We will remember them.
