There were plenty of smiles, wagging tails and happy faces today as 10 children enjoyed a very special pet therapy session with the adorable Tut!

Tut is a gorgeous three-year-old Maltichon (a Maltese crossed with a Bichon Frise) who is spreading happiness wherever his little paws take him. He will be celebrating his fourth birthday in December, but he is already a very experienced little superstar!

Tut began his wonderful journey visiting schools and hospitals in June 2024, bringing comfort, joy and a little bit of magic to children who meet him.

During today's session, all 10 children had the opportunity to spend time with Tut, enjoying his lovely company and discovering just how special spending time with a furry friend can be.

Tut has a very special talent for making children feel happy, calm and relaxed. His gentle nature and friendly personality help create a lovely atmosphere, where children can unwind, smile and enjoy some quality time with their four-legged visitor.  

And there's one thing Tut particularly loves....... STORYTIME! He absolutely adores having stories read to him and is always happy to be part of a good book session. He's certainly one of the best listeners around – although we suspect he might occasionally be listening out for treats too!

Pet therapy sessions like these can make a real difference, helping children feel more settled, confident and comfortable while creating special memories along the way.
