What a fantastic way to celebrate the season of harvest!

Our Year 3 children welcomed their parents and carers into school today for a very special Harvest Festival, and what a wonderful celebration it was!

The children have been working so hard to prepare for their special performance, and they did an amazing job entertaining our audience with a fantastic selection of harvest-themed songs.

There were plenty of smiles, singing and even some dancing as the children performed:

Cauliflower Fluffy, Harvest Tango and The Harvest Wellaman.

Our Year 3 children performed with such enthusiasm and confidence, and it was wonderful to see them sharing their learning and celebrating the harvest together. There may even have been a few audience members tempted to join in with the Harvest Tango!

Harvest is also a very special time to think about sharing, giving and supporting others, and our Grove families have certainly shown what a caring and generous community we are.

We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the wonderful donations of food and other items received from our parents and carers. Our families have been incredibly generous, and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed.

Every donation, big or small, will help to support people in our community and reminds us all the importance of looking out for one another. We are incredibly proud of our children for seeing first-hand how their families and school community can come together to make a positive difference. 

A very special thank you to all our parents and carers who took the time to come along and support the children. Having you there made the occasion even more special, and the children were so proud to perform for you.

Our Harvest Festival was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season while reflecting on some of the values that are so important to us at Grove – kindness, generosity, caring for others and being part of our community. 

We are incredibly proud of our Year 3 children and their hard work they have put into their performance. They certainly gave us a Harvest Festival to remember!
