What a lovely morning we had at Co-op Academy Grove as we welcomed families to our SEND Coffee Morning!

Parents and carers joined us for a cuppa, a chat and the opportunity to find out more about the fantastic support and services available to children and young people with SEND. 

We were delighted to invite Project Indi, who shared information about the amazing work they do to support children, young people and families across our community. 

From after-school clubs and inclusive weekend activities to school holiday sessions, specialist family support and exciting adventures, there are lots for families to discover!

We were also pleased to welcome our Community Pioneer, Michelle, who came along to introduce herself to our families and share more about how she can support and connect with our school community. It was a great opportunity for parents and carers to meet Michelle and put a friendly face to an important role within our community. 

This morning was a wonderful opportunity to connect with our families , ask questions, share experiences and find out some of the support available locally. There was plenty of time for friendly conversations, with, of course, the added bonus of tea and biscuits!

At Co-op Academy Grove, we believe that every child should feel included, supported and able to thrive, and working closely with our families and community partners is a big part of making this happen.
