Well, that's it for this half-term – where have those 8 weeks gone?
I will end the half-term by reiterating what I wrote in edition 1: I could not be any prouder of the children (and staff!). I have been blown away over the half-term by the children's attitude towards their learning and their enthusiasm for school. As a school, we have been working hard on writing and improving presentation – I am so pleased with the writing that I have seen in children's books. Keep this up boys and girls! Well done.
Just a reminder, our school uniform is really important to us. It is the expectation that all children adhere to it at all times. School shoes, including on PE days, MUST be black. We also do not allow backpacks. Bags should be small book bags. After half-term, we will be selling book bags on Arbor (along with the extra uniform stock) at £3.00 per bag.
