These weeks are flying by! What a fantastic week it has been. We hope the children enjoyed meeting their new class teachers and visiting their new classrooms this week. We also hope they are just as excited to return to their current class teachers, ready to finish the year with lots of amazing learning (and share a few upcoming treats too!).

A huge thank you for supporting today's Break the Rules Day! Together, we raised an amazing £523 which will go towards the Year 6 prom and some well-deserved end-of-year treats. 🎉

Next Friday, our end-of-year reports will be published on Arbor. Please don't forget to sign up for the app in preparation for this - we have 92% uptake at the moment.

Finally, we were informed by the DfE that we will not find out our Year 6 results until Thursday 16th July. This is due to a delay affecting the national system used. Therefore, Year 6 attainment data will be missing from their reports. Our aim is to share the SATs results with all parents as soon as we possibly can after their release. We understand this delay is disappointing. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

World Cup Update

Dear Parents and Carers,

Re: Monday 6th July 2026

As many families continue to enjoy the Football World Cup, we know that some children may be looking forward to watching England's next match on Sunday night.

We recognise that families will make their own decisions about whether to stay up to watch the match together. Whatever those choices may be, our schools will be open as normal on Monday, and we look forward to welcoming all pupils at the usual start time, ready to learn.

At our school, we know that every day really does matter with regular attendance and punctuality playing an important role in supporting children's learning, wellbeing and achievement. We really appreciate your support in helping keep your child’s morning routine on track so they arrive on time, giving them the very best opportunity to succeed.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding. Working together with all our parents/carers to ensure every child has the best start in life preparing for their future is very important to us. We hope everyone enjoying the tournament has a fantastic evening, and we look forward to seeing all of our pupils on Monday morning at the normal time.

A huge thank you to Michelle, our Community Pioneer, who has collected a donation of bark chippings and weed membrane this week from Wickes.

Our secret garden is progressing well, and we can't wait to use it more next year!

Important updates

We have an exciting update regarding our school meals! Starting this September, we will be moving to a new catering company. Please don't worry, as our amazing kitchen team staff are staying with us, so your children will still see their favourite familiar faces. Action Required: So we can serve children when they return in September. We would really appreciate all parents/carers who have children with severe/complex allergy needs to urgently complete the form (paper copies can be collected from the office if you can not complete them online) as nutritionists need to create bespoke menus for their return.
